Graduation
I completed my biomedical engineering degree at UF, a milestone that connects my journey from Ghana with years of research, engineering projects, mentorship, and community. It feels like both an ending and a launch point.
Honors Thesis Defense
I defended my honors thesis on machine learning and multimodal signal analysis for tic detection. It was a chance to synthesize the clinical motivation, engineering constraints, and analysis lessons from two years of work.
Undergraduate Research Symposium
I presented my Brain Mapping Lab work on objective tic detection for Tourette syndrome research. The project compares video-based and EMG-based approaches and asks how clinical teams can measure symptoms more efficiently and consistently.
